Commercial Digital Learning Manager at A.P. Møller - Maersk


Lead a team of Instructional Designers responsible for designing visually appealing, appropriate graphics, animation, videos, or interactive activities for the Organization part of the Commercial Training and Development Team.
  • Can design, guide and evaluate multimedia presentations, e-learning design templates and Learning Programs for Blended Synchronous and Asynchronous Programs.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of content development models practiced globally ( ADDIE, Gagne, SAM)
  • Communicate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to obtain necessary information for developing learning materials and work with Instructional Designer & Developers for end to end Delivery of Digital Content and evaluate Learning Outcomes ( Blooms Taxonomy)
  • Managing internal/external stakeholder relationships regarding course builds and course launches through a strong Program Management approach.
  • Recommend appropriate learning solutions in all delivery formats (ILT, e-learning and Blended)
  • Guide the Team on creation of effective training programs and materials for diverse learning delivery formats (including instructional media elements, storyboards, e-learning content, visual aids, presentation materials, text to voice conversion)
  • Collaborate with Functional Global Training and Development (T&D) trainers and instructional designers for creating Digital Learning solutions for Global learning consumption.
  • Ability to understand the complexity of business and the many audiences cross cultures and countries and what engages them
  • Build & Publish Learning Dashboards to showcase Learning Trends, coverage for ILT & Online training initiatives and share insights with Senior Leadership team.
  • Own end to end LMS activities for Digital Content developed by T&D Team and work closely with IT for any LMS related enhancements, features that would affect the Digital Content or Learner experience.
  • Support Digitalization of content for New Application launches collaborating with Training Managers, Platform Owners and stakeholders and deliver within Project timelines.
  • Optimum utilization of Licenses used by Instructional Designers and Trainers within the T&D team ensuring timely renewal or release of unused licenses
  • Conceptualize, co-create or leverage Learning programs with GSC, Commercial or Enterprise Learning Academies for different roles including Leadership

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any stream and certification in Multimedia Arts / Digital Media, instructional design or anything related is a plus.
  • Instructional Design certification or experience of 2 years working on Digital Content Development.
  • Experience Leading a team of Instructional Designers, Trainers, Graphic designers etc. for minimum of 2 years in a global organisation.
  • Experience in Managing multiple Projects simultaneously and can prioritize basis the Business needs
  • Articulates the expectations clearly to internal and external stakeholders on scope, timelines and product delivery.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English with attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in designing and creating eLearning content and able to provide a portfolio of previous content created
  • Experience with Gamification of Training content and quizzes using latest industry practices
  • Self motivated and takes end to end ownership of the Project and has low tolerance to roadblocks
  • Strong Knowledge and experience with digital media tools such as:
    • Adobe Captivate
    • Adobe Photoshop
    • Adobe Illustrator
    • Adobe Premiere
    • Adobe After Effects
    • Adobe Audition
    • Adobe InDesign
    • Powtoon
    • Articulate Rise
    • Articulate Storyline
    • Articulate 360
  • Knowledge on mobile development and AR/VR technology, Power BI and Sharepoint is a big plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools(Office 365) and can collaborate on Team effectively
  • Familiar with learning management systems or e-learning technologies (i.e Cornerstone, Percipio)
  • Must demonstrate good knowledge in Adult learning theory and instructional design principles in managing the development of eLearning modules and other instructional materials
