We are growing and are busy in our procurement and contract management advisory team and are looking for another colleague who are motivated by helping our clients with large and complex contracts for construction projects, primarily within the energy and renewable industry. We strive to always ensure personal insight at our client so we can deliver the market’s best solution and advisory.

BDO’s Procurement and Contract Management

You will be part of our procurement and contract management advisory team who advise our client on how to enhance the contract value through the contract lifecycle – from initial discussions on the client’s sourcing needs to advising and leading the processes throughout the sourcing process to contract execution and closure.
You can expect to work on one or more of our clients’ projects where you will work in collaboration with the client, often as an integrated part of the client’s organisation as well as in teams with your BDO colleagues.
The procurement and contract management advisory team is part of BDO Advisory in Denmark which employs approx. 150 colleagues. We work from Havneholmen in Copenhagen and Kystvejen in Aarhus, and you can choose to be based at one of these two locations.

Your qualifications

As a person you are a team player who is ready to assist where needed. You are good at communicating, are responsible and you keep your agreements. You thrive in working independently, but also like the good atmosphere of our team and will actively support this.
Further, we would expect:
  • That you have a relevant Master’s Degree, e.g. Commercial Law, Law, or other relevant education where you have also gained a solid insight into contract law.
  • That you have 2 years of experience with procurement and contract management of complex contracts related to large construction projects. Ideally, you also have experience with FIDIC contracts.
  • That you have experience with and thrive with many stakeholders in your work.
  • That you can think abstractly and can put yourself in the client’s place and see new commercial opportunities.
  • That you master English at negotiation level and that you understand Danish at conversation level.
