Derby / Site basedWe’re looking for a Kit Plan Controller to join our Services team in Derby.
You would be part of driving our strategy to deliver a world class service to Customers or our large engine products and would be part of a diverse and high performing team who take pride in setting the standard in compliance, safety and delivery through a robust production system.
The team are responsible for the management of both new and used material and the planning of kits to support the overhaul process for a variety of civil engine applications. This will include being the initial point of contact and operating effective relationships with the internal and external repair supply chain, demonstrated through the satisfaction of demand requirements whilst optimising inventory. To manage and coordinate delivery issues, reporting shortages and recovery programmes to meet the plan, managing the impact and escalate issues as required.

What you’ll be doingYou will interpret Repair Instructions, TRC Notes and Technical Data.
- You will be ERP process and system compliant ensuring data integrity working within MS8 and ERP guidelines.
- Provide expedite service for build shortages.
- Support NPI
- Raise and release P/O.
- Knowledge of process improvement tools.
What we’re looking for
- A working knowledge of SAP and PC literacy is essential.
- An understanding of Supply Chain Management and Internal and External Supply Chain Operations is a requirement.
- Ability to communicate with others at all levels
- Knowledge of Trent engine and module assembly/disassembly techniques advantageous.
