energy, senior software engineer for one of the fastest growing international development
centers in Prague.
Microsoft’s Tech for Social Impact (TSI) is an industry vertical team that works with over 250,000
nonprofits and international development agencies worldwide. TSI delivers mission-driven
impact while delivering a sustainable business model to scale nonprofit digital transformation. In
partnership with Microsoft’s Industry Clouds & Solutions teams, we build first-party products by
leveraging Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, Dynamics Marketing, Teams, SharePoint,
LinkedIn, and other technologies, and extending these products to solve important nonprofit
industry challenges.
This team’s product portfolio includes Fundraising and Engagement (a Dynamics 365 and Azure
dependent CRM), Volunteer Management, Volunteer Engagement, Constituent marketing
journeys, and additional Azure, Teams, LinkedIn, SharePoint, Power BI, and Microsoft
Community Training tools.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the rest of the engineering and product team to own end-to-end business
    scenarios and provide guidance and technical direction for the product.
  • Investigate and debug production issues while working alongside our support team,
    customers, and partners.
  • Constantly investigate and prototype new frameworks, approaches, and technologies.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance to team members, helping them grow.
  • Contribute to a team culture centered on collaboration and problem solving that sets the
    standard for Industry Cloud engineering at Microsoft.

Qualifications

What you bring to the table

You have:
  • Delivered production ready software using an object-oriented language, such as C#,

C++, Java, or a comparable technology, like React.
  • Delivered and contributed significantly to a solution based on Dynamics 365, either

using Model-Driven or Canvas Apps.
  • Strong experience with at least one of the following: C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL,

Azure or comparable, Power Platform, Dynamics 365.
  • Strong verbal, written, and collaboration skills. Verbal and written fluency in English is

required.
  • Willing to understand and research unfamiliar code bases, troubleshoot applications,

analyze performance impact, etc.
  • Hands-on, positive attitude oriented towards solving problems.

Not a must, but nice to have:
  • Strong, proven proficiency in building reusable, testable, and maintainable software.
  • Deep understanding of object-oriented fundamentals and software design patterns.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks completely and independently, even when

faced with ambiguous situations.
  • Having a working understanding of nonprofit business process challenges is a plus.
